Cultural and gender modesty norms as well as impostor syndrome can prevent anyone from acknowledging their remarkable attributes and expressing their achievements. We wanted to provide a platform to challenge the social perception around self-promotion and to improve the self-promotion motivation and skills of women and underrepresented groups.

Beyond Business takes a step back from the traditional academic and professional development programming to focus on day to day problems that we all face. Delving into important topics like mental health, handling microaggressions, how to stop spending all your money aka budgeting, or overcoming life's many obstacles.
I4IE
Many Faces of Entrepreneurship
CWU’s Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I4IE) coordinates and conducts the annual, daylong event to encourage today’s students to learn how to become tomorrow’s entrepreneurs. Prep students from high schools will discover how to create, start, and successfully operate an entrepreneurial venture as they create their own in the competition.

Spring Daze
A 3 day long event with over 2,000 attendees consisting of an exotic petting zoo, inflatable games, the world's longest taco line, a carnival, and a concert (Cheat Codes the first year and Maddie and Tae the second).

Part of the Spring Daze Planning committee on Student Senate - helped in the creation and ordering of t-shirts and prizes, reaching out to businesses in the community to participate, building booths for the carnival, and managing the clubs.
Central Washington University
LAUNCH Conference
The culminating conference for the graduating seniors within the CWU College of Business. Designed to help launch students into their future by gaining insight and networking with professionals. The conference consists of a keynote speaker before breaking into major specific programming with panels of professionals in the industry, breaking into interactive groups to gain further insight on topics, and learning more about the transition from college to the workforce.
Dawson Community College
Orientation
Was responsible for planning the 2-day new student orientation for 200 students. Collaborated with faculty, staff, and community to welcome students to campus.

Informational sessions like financial aid, housing, registrar, and the library mixed in with more fun events. The Regatta was a cardboard boat race on Hollecker Lake. We had a community fair, the volleyball team vs any takers, tours of Makoshika State Park, waterslides, and barbeques,

Renaissance Faire
Partnership with BREW Club and Cosplay Club to have a medieval tavern to promote new craft brewing major.
Galentine's Against Violence
Partnered with DOVE to have a Galentine's Day with a sleepover feel while also informing about domestic violence.
Cancer is a Drag (Show)
Held the first drag show at the college to fundraise and raise awareness for testicular cancer.
The Big Event
A day full of volunteering throughout the entire community, lending a hand on various projects in teams.
Quidditch
Based on the Harry Potter game with brooms, balls, butter beer, and our track star golden snitch.
Community Night
Inviting the community to come to campus to learn more about different opportunities and see the student art gallery.
Involvement Fair
A chance to learn about all the ways to get involved on campus - clubs, departments, or other resources.
