Implemented a new customer relationship management software with Salesforce to track student information, improve communication, and seamlessly collaborate with athletics, financial aid, faculty advisors, and housing.

Many Faces of Entrepreneurship
CWU’s Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I4IE) coordinates and conducts the annual, daylong event to encourage today’s students to learn how to become tomorrow’s entrepreneurs. Prep students from high schools will discover how to create, start, and successfully operate an entrepreneurial venture as they create their own in the competition.
Buccaneer Welding Invitational
Started the annual tradition of the Welding Invitational where high school welders were invited to compete in a series of tests over 2 days. Mixed in with community and college tours, information about our programs, and fun activities. Over 85% of participants enrolled in the welding program after competing, getting to connect to current students, and seeing campus.
Community Night
Inviting the community to come to campus to learn more about different opportunities and see the student art gallery.
Open House
Students are introduced to academic majors and campus resources, learn about clubs and organizations, and explore campus.

Transfer Initiative
Are you a student enrolled at one of our partner colleges and have earned between 0-60 credits? You may be eligible for CWU's new ETA+ program, designed to streamline your degree path from community college to CWU. As part of ETA+, you’re fully admitted to your community college and conditionally admitted to CWU with access to key university resources including:
Academic major advising
Financial aid workshops
Career counseling to help in your degree planning process
$60 application fee waiver

Buccaneer Excellence
Scholarship Program
DCC offers many scholarships through the Buccaneer Excellence program including merit based, involvement based, fully online, dual enrolled students, and Refer-a-Buc.

Advocated for the Fresh Start Scholarship for students who had a 2.0-3.0 GPA or decided not to attend college the chance to receive a scholarship. In order to keep the scholarship students had to be actively involved in at least one student club or organization and maintain a 2.0 GPA.

Also advocated for the Neo-traditional Student scholarship for students who work full time, have children, or are starting their education over the age of 24.
College Application Week
Enrollment Management
College Application Week provides high school seniors the opportunity to learn about Montana colleges and universities and complete a free college application during the school day, thereby opening the door for many students who might not otherwise take this important step toward college.
Dawson Promise
Unaccompanied Youth
Dawson Promise is a program aimed at helping unaccompanied youth , homeless youth, or youth aging out of the foster care system obtain a two-year education without debt. Through Dawson Promise, students are provided opportunities that may have previously seemed out of reach.
